The Addams Family

In March 2026, Drogheda Musical Society proudly presented its debut full-scale production, The Addams Family, at the Barbican Theatre, marking a historic milestone in the society's revival after almost 40 years.

Featuring a talented local cast and a dedicated team of volunteers working both on and off the stage, the production showcased the passion, creativity and community spirit that had become the foundation of DMS since its reformation in 2023.

​

The show was met with enthusiastic audiences, standing ovations and national recognition, earning Drogheda Musical Society the prestigious Spirit of AIMS Award. More than just our first production, The Addams Family represented the beginning of an exciting new chapter for musical theatre in Drogheda and demonstrated what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared passion for the performing arts.
